Denis Howard's Monthly Student Blog
March 2010
Hi all,
Well I got my night rating out of the way this month and it was the best fun I've had for ages. You can’t imagine how different and beautiful it is to fly an aircraft by night, navigation is so different and even trying to get your approach and landings right takes a bit of work, but I would recommend night flying to anyone as a brilliant experience.
The weather lately is perfect for flying with clear blue skies and perfect viz and it feels great to get some hours in again.
I now have a total of 45 hours pilot in command so I have another bit to go before starting the cpl training but I don’t mind leaving that til the summer when I have some time off from teaching in the school, so my target now for the end of may is another 55 hours.
As I said before if you would like to contact me just drop an email to the Atlantic site and I will be more than happy to get back to you.
Till next month
Denis
