Denis Howard's Monthly Student Blog
1st Februray 2010
Hi all,
Well it's been a fantastic start to the year with the last of my ATPL exams out of the way. It
really feels like a huge weight has been lifted and I can now go back to enjoying my flying. I did make a bit of a mistake thinking that the exam dates set by the IAA were always in the last week
of each month but this time, guess what.....it changed,......they were set for a week earlier and I
had some catching up to do near exam time but thankfully all was not lost and I got the last two
exams with an average of 83%.
Looking back at the subjects now I found that G NAV and its exam was one of the most difficult
of all whereas I found PERFORMANCE to be one of the most interesting.
Well hopefully this coming weekend will see me back in the skies over Cork with the start of my
hour building. I just have to keep my fingers crossed that the weather won’t spoil that for me…
I am so looking forward to it after so many months of hard study.
My next goal is my night rating and I hope to have a full report on that for you next time round.
So until next month…
Denis
Till next month
